Manthropologie: Ethical Menswear to Help You Look the Part
One thing I've always had a certain level of distain for is people telling me what to wear and what not to wear. It probably comes from attending a school that required uniforms. For whatever reason I've always had a chip on my shoulder about dress codes, both written and unwritten. In my early professional career I made it a point to dress down. Mainly because I still had some angsty teen idea of proving a point to an older generation who judged people by how they looked. Recently I realized that if people judge me based on how I'm dressed and decide not to work with me, it's actually my loss. And if I choose to put my desire to wear jeans above getting a job, I won't be getting very many jobs. So don't be me. If you want people to take you seriously, look the part.
1. Warby Parker: Edgeworth Whiskey Tortoise Eyeglasses - Please don't wear these unless you actually need glasses.
3. Everlane - Slim Fit Oxford- I wish my entire wardrobe was Everlane, seriously.
6. Pact: Crew Socks - Don't wear white socks. - Sincerely, the Guy who's made that mistake before
