Where to Find Ethical Clothes for Kids

Shop ethically for kids.jpg

This winter we happily became the parents of some very sweet foster children. In addition to the joys of first time parenthood we've also been introduced to the amazingly cute world of children's clothing. Much of what we started with were hand-me-downs from good friends. But as the little ones grow and we organize closets we are starting to fill in gaps with newer pieces...and it is SO fun. Here are some ethically sourced brands that we are currently loving.

Tea Collection

Right now Tea Collection is probably our favorite place to shop. While not a fair trade company, they take the time to fully address their ethics and criteria for manufacturing and I feel really confident supporting this brand. We've purchased several pieces and can attest to the solid construction and super cuteness of the pieces. The price point is what you'd expect for ethically made clothing but they often have great sales that make them a very reasonably priced option for the ethical shopper.

If you're in the market for super solid, long lasting baby gear at an excellent price, you should head over to PACT. We own a beenie and onesie from this brand and the material just really doesn't compare to any conventionally made pieces we own. It's just so soft and thick! Sign up for their newsletter to get updates on their excellent sales and notifications when they release new prints.

Wild Dill

Well, let's get this out of the way. These pieces are expensive. But if you're a.) a baller or b.) looking for a special or specific piece this is your place. Wild Dill has ADORABLE ethically made items that you won't find anywhere else in a addition to a large selection of thoughtfully curated items for kiddos.

While you're working on your own capsule wardrobe you can also build one for your little one! Wildly Co. is a  family owned shop that uses fair trade manufacturing to create mix-and-match pieces that last. The price is right and they release new pieces often. An excellent option for a busy family or anyone who is sick of shirts that say "mommy's little (insert anything)".

There are so many other great places to shop for kids clothing but these are a few we are loving right now. Where are you shopping for your kids?
