Where to Shop For Ethically Made Clothing
Today I got a text from a friend saying that she was going to start trying to shop more ethically. This is probably the most meaningful feedback I get and it's so encouraging to have accountability with the people you do life with. However what was NOT okay was that she said she was having trouble finding any clothing related resources on our blog. How can this be?! I checked the fashion section of our blog and realized it is a bit disjointed and would take some time to find brands to check out. So clearly we are overdue for a simple refresh of ethical clothing brands! The images shown here were handpicked by me and I feel best represent the brand as a whole. This is by no means an exhaustive list. There are dozens of other brands that aren't included here. Some by oversight (so sorry if that's you!) but some due to price point. I'm going to compile a similar list of higher end more expensive pieces in a separate post. Todays post focused on easy to wear and gentle on the wallet brands. Remember, ethical clothing is more expensive and might even seem shocking if you've been shopping at Forever 21 and Target. Along with a commitment to shop ethically there also will likely need to be a commitment to shopping less. But any fashion lover will tell you, it's better to have one expensive shirt you love than three cheap shirts you rarely wear or that fall apart quickly. Happy Shopping and if you're looking for something specific send me an email!
